The Famous And The Forgotten

league games from time to time. My family attended the surprise 40th birthday party for him at

the North Haven Village Hall. Both he and I were in the city on 9-11 when the towers fell.  And

we shared stories about struggling to get out of the city and back home toSag Harborthat day.

In March of 2006, my friend, neither an A-lister nor a B-lister, just a regular guy, joined

Johnson and Grey.  And that’s all I have to say about that.

 

IV We still live up island and have had a second home on theNorth Forkfor the past eight years.  It

reminds me a bit of the South Fork of the early 90s. Very quiet. Very rural. There are few

celebrity sightings, although there is a degree ofNorth Forkcoverage in Dan’s Papers, which

seems to be growing steadily.

From time to time, I’ll slip and refer to Jamesport asSag Harbor.  It’s not out of my blood

yet, but I’m working on it.
