Escape to Quogue

Written By: Todd J. Cohen, MD

Meanwhile, back at the wagon, Justin is in safe hands with a firewoman who has been talking to him and making sure that he is safe and sound while his daddy does his job. “Did I say job?” This is suppose to be my escape from my 12 hour plus workdays, the ventricular fibrillation, the defibs, the pacers, and the electrophysiology stuff.

I’m driving home, Justin is staring out the window behind me. I reflect on the morning’s events. Now that the surf, the sand, the fun, and the frolic seem light years away, I realize that I learned something today.  An electrophysiologist who is committed to his job can never ESCAPE to Quogue.
