Snow Day

 

When I look back Ricky is giving me a thumbs up.  Soon my gaze shifts past him to a man holding a scope back by the trail.  He gives his thumbs up higher.

 

It’s Mustache Man.  The guy who drove six hours on his day off because of the pulling power of a rare bird.  We don’t want his pilgrimage to the beach to be for not.  We wave him over.
